By using Vael (whether through the iOS app, the website at drobeapp.com, or the browser extension) you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any of them, please stop using the product. These terms are intentionally written in plain language so there is no room for interpretation games.
Your account
You need an account to use most of Vael. Keep your sign-in credentials safe. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. If you share your account with someone else, their activity is on you.
Your content
Photos of your clothes, your body photo, and try-on results are yours. You keep full ownership of them. When you use Vael you grant us the minimum license we need to run the product: store your photos in our backend, process them through our AI pipeline to produce tags and try-on renders, and deliver them back to you on any device you've signed into. We do not use your photos to train any AI model and we do not share them with advertisers.
When you explicitly share a look or outfit via the "Share" button, you are making that specific piece of content publicly viewable at a token-gated URL. You can revoke that share at any time and it stops being viewable within seconds. Anyone visiting a shared look's URL between the time you shared and the time you revoked may have seen the image.
Subscriptions
Vael Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store. Billing is handled by Apple; we don't see or store your payment information. You can cancel at any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are at Apple's discretion according to their usual policy.
Free tier limits (wardrobe item count, try-ons per day, etc.) can change. We'll tell you before reducing limits for existing users; we're more likely to loosen them over time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Vael to upload or render imagery of anyone other than yourself without their consent. Don't upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is sexually explicit. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer our AI pipeline, scrape our backend, or circumvent rate limits. Don't use the public /try demo or the browser extension to abuse third-party retailers (e.g., by scraping their catalog at scale through our pipeline).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
AI-generated content
Virtual try-on results are generated by Google's Gemini image model from your inputs. They are photorealistic approximations, not guarantees of fit or appearance. What the AI shows you is not a promise about the real garment. Use your own judgment before purchasing.
Third-party sites (browser extension)
The Vael browser extension injects a "Try on with Vael" button on product pages across the web. Product images, price data, and site layouts belong to the retailers hosting them. We do not claim any rights to that content. When you click the button, we open our own /try flow with the product image URL. We don't redistribute, modify, or republish the retailer's content.
If you operate a retail website and would prefer our extension not run on your domain, users can disable per-domain in extension settings, or you can contact us and we'll block your domain at the extension level in the next release.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Vael is provided "as is." We make no warranty that it will work without errors, or that AI-generated images will accurately represent any real garment. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, e.g., a purchase you regret because the garment didn't look the same in person as it did in the Vael try-on. Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes
We may revise these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app and on this page. Continued use after a change counts as acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, where Vael is operated. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgrade.
